A site about ships, boats and ship stuff. 
A site, always under construction and never finished.

        Being really interested in the days when horizons were only, or mainly, interrupted by sails, instead of wreaths of smoke, I have the irresistible urge to do something with it. So I started this site.  I am not an expert in square rig sailing, shiphandling or navigation, therefore I invite everyone to contribute to this site. Correct me where I am wrong, send in suggestions, add terms. In other words: help me to build a site where people can really find answers to there questions. English is not my native language, so do not hesitate to correct me if really annoying mistakes do occur!

     online, because there is still nothing to find about this vessel from Brazilian side.
